A 19-year-old woman has died after being attacked by a dog at a property in Essex, police have said.
The incident happened on Friday. Following the attack, police arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control and causing injury resulting in death.
He is now in police custody.
Police have not released further details about the circumstances of the attack. The investigation is continuing.
