The Trump administration on Friday released new renderings of the triumphal arch President Donald Trump wants to place in Memorial Circle, at the foot of the Arlington Memorial Bridge.
The project is part of Trump’s broader effort to leave a lasting mark during his second term. The proposed monument, referred to as the “Arc de Trump,” would rise 250ft high, according to the latest plans from Harrison Design.
The updated concept shows a striking arch topped by the phrase “One Nation Under God.” It would also include a 60ft golden Lady Liberty and a viewing deck.
The renderings add detail to a proposal that has already drawn attention for its scale and symbolism. Positioned at a prominent site near Arlington Memorial Bridge, the planned structure is intended to function as a dramatic gateway-style monument.
Harrison Design’s latest images are the newest public look at the concept as the administration continues to advance Trump’s legacy-building ambitions in his second term.
The proposed arch remains a highly visible and highly symbolic addition to the Washington area landscape, with its size and design intended to make it a landmark feature. At 250ft tall, it would be one of the most imposing monuments in the region.
The plan’s central visual element is the golden Lady Liberty, which would stand 60ft high. Combined with the arch’s scale and the inscription across the top, the design reflects the president’s preference for grand, statement-making architecture.
For now, the new renderings provide the clearest picture yet of what the administration is calling for at Memorial Circle, as the project continues to take shape in public view.
