With so many items in the game, there is a few that really stand out in OSRS.
Old School Runescape has a plethora of items for you to find in the game. These are items that you could get from drops, receive as rewards, purchase with OSRS gold and much more. Given the amount of items that are in the game, it’s easy to miss some of the better trinkets that are on offer. When it comes to OSRS items for sale or finding them out in the world, there’s certain items that you should look out for, which we will be listing.
Zamorak Godsword
Once upon a time, there wouldn’t be much reason to have this weapon anywhere near a list like this. The buffs that it received made it worthy of mention alongside the other swords of its ilk. It is effective in both PvE and PvP combat, so no matter what your preferred method of comba t is, this is bound to help you. The high accuracy rate that it possesses, along with the ability to freeze enemies with the Ice Cleave, you can rest assured that the Zamorak Godsword is worthy of being pursued.
Infernal Axe
Woodcutting can be very important in some aspects of OSRS. If you do happen to spend a lot of your time woodcutting, then the Infernal Axe is for you. This will let you to train two of your skills at the same time. How does it do this? By using this axe, you’ll be burning a third of the log as well. Therefore, you’re training your firemaking as well as your woodcutting skill.
That’s not all, as the axe will also speed up your cutting ability. You will not receive as much OSRS gp since you’re effectively burning the logs, but it’s great for experience. To get this axe, you need to get your firemaking skill up to 85. Then, find a Dragon Axe and Smoldering Stone to make the Infernal Axe you desire.
Ectophial
This may seem like a strange choice for this list, when you consider how easy it is to obtain. That said, don’t be fooled by how simple acquiring it is, as there is a lot to gain from the Ectophial. To obtain it, all you need to do is complete the Ghosts Ahoy quest.
Once you have done so, you can use the Ectophial not only to see a nifty animation take place, but it also works as a teleport with just a single click. Don’t worry about having to fill it either, as it fills itself so you don’t have to. The area of Morytania is a very useful place to be for players. Here you will find areas where you can take up a quest and train. With the Ectophial, you can gain access to Morytania with ease.
Crystal Shield
The Crystal Shield deserves a special mention, since it is one of the most overlooked items in the game in terms of what it is capable of. This shield is available for you to obtain in the Roving Elves quest, meaning there’s no need to find OSRS gold for sale to buy it.
There are reasons as to why this is considered underrated. It actually has a lot of uses, such as being the best Range Defence for the slot that it is in, boasting stats of +80. The magic and raw defence also both offer good stats, and you’ll not need to worry about it losing these stats when it starts degrading. Even though it does degrade, you won’t have to part with too much OSRS gold to get it back to where it needs to be.
Beacon Ring
This item is the talk of many underrated item discussions amongst the community. Those who have been looking elsewhere for such discussions already will have more than likely come across mention of the Beacon Ring.
The fact that it is free to get is a massive plus, saving us from shelling out with OSRS gold for it. The defence and magic bonuses that you get with it will be surprising considering the price, and there isn’t any limit on how many you can get. To get this ring, you’ll need to play through the quest known as What Lies Below.
These items are easy to obtain without you having to spend OSRS GP in bulk to get them. There is a seemingly never-ending amount of items that are in Old School Runescape, and players should be aware of those diamonds in the rough that are dotted around. If you do come across any of the items that are listed here, then be sure to make the most of them in that moment.
