A man has been arrested after entering an unauthorised area of Shannon airport in the Republic of Ireland and allegedly causing damage to a US military aircraft, police have said.
The suspect, who is in his 40s, was detained on suspicion of criminal damage and remains in custody following the incident on Saturday at the airport in County Clare.
