Editorial Standards

WorldNewsContent is built on accuracy, clarity, and neutrality. These standards explain how we report, edit, and publish.

Accuracy first
We do not invent facts, quotes, or statistics. We verify names, dates, locations, and numbers. When reporting is based on documents, we link to them whenever possible. When reporting relies on secondary sources, we seek independent confirmation.

Neutral tone
We avoid sensational language and loaded wording. We describe what happened in plain terms and attribute opinions to sources. Our headlines reflect verified facts and do not imply certainty when it is not supported.

Sourcing
We prioritize primary sources: official statements, documents, filings, data releases, and on record interviews. When primary sources are not available, we use reputable secondary reporting and clearly attribute it.

Anonymous sources
We use anonymous sources only when necessary and when the information is credible and important. Editors must know the identity of anonymous sources and assess their proximity to the information. Whenever possible, we confirm anonymous claims with documents or additional sources.

Breaking news and updates
Breaking stories are treated as living pages. We publish quickly with verified facts only. If details are unclear, we label them unconfirmed and explain what would confirm them. Updates are added with timestamps so readers can track changes.

Conflicting reports
When credible sources conflict, we do not choose a side without evidence. We state what is confirmed, what is disputed, and what additional verification is needed. We update as new verified information becomes available.

Responsible reporting
We do not publish private personal data about private individuals, including addresses, phone numbers, or identifying documents. We avoid graphic detail and consider the safety of people affected by events. We use special care when minors are involved.

Corrections
If we make a factual error, we correct it quickly and clearly. Our Corrections Policy explains how we handle updates and correction notes.

Independence
We separate reporting from advertising and sponsorship. If any content is sponsored, it must be labeled clearly. Editorial decisions are not for sale.

Plagiarism prevention
We write in our own words. We do not copy or rewrite other outlets sentence by sentence. If we quote, we do so briefly and with attribution.

Contact and feedback
We welcome correction requests and reliable tips. Please use our Contact page. Provide links, supporting sources, and specific details to help our verification process.
